Being an adult is a stage in life young Jennifer swore she couldn't wait to achieve. I can say that every adult around me who consistently reiterated to me that "Enjoy being a child while you can" was nothing but absolutely right. Life hits differently when you gain that level of consciousness that children are ever so lucky to bask in, if they are lucky.

As a child, life seemed so simple and carefree. We were lucky to experience the world through a lens of wonder and curiosity, free from the burdens that often accompany adulthood. The joy of playing outside until sunset, the thrill of a new toy, or the magic of storytelling were all part of a blissful existence. Now, looking back, I realize that with adulthood comes a new awareness—a different perspective on life. Responsibilities, decisions, and the weight of expectations that can sometimes overshadow the carefree days of youth. It’s a reminder that those fleeting moments of childhood are precious, and perhaps, we should cherish them a little more while they last.

Embrace in scrabble letters

Reflecting on my childhood, I realize I wasn't adequately prepared for the harsh realities of the world. I was taught to be wary of unfamiliar people and situations, yet my nature has always been kind and generous, sometimes at my own expense. Now, at thirty, with two children and various career paths behind me, I can finally say I've embarked on the journey of discovering who Jennifer truly is—understanding my own identity and what I enjoy in life, free from others' expectations. It's become clear that we have only one life to live, and the most important thing is to live it according to our own choices.

Who I was at twenty is certainly very different from who I am at thirty, and that is the essence of life. As humans, we evolve! We are meant to; remaining stagnant does nothing for our higher purpose. It's the obstacles in life that often keep us stuck. How do we overcome these obstacles? Especially when our parents didn't equip us with the tools to navigate life's challenges? I come from a very troubled past that has led me to deeply explore personal development. I am aware that greatness is destined for me. There is a higher calling in my life, and it's up to me to achieve it.

If you feel uncertain about your life path, don't worry. Take the risk—be wise about it, but take it! Start that business! Date that person! Pursue the idea you've been contemplating. It might sound cliché, but it's true: life doesn't wait for anyone! Each day spent contemplating missed opportunities is a day lost to discovering something truly special about yourself. Remember, your human experience is yours alone. Don't spend another day unhappy, unfulfilled, or unsatisfied when you have the power to change your circumstances. I don't claim to know everything about life, but through my own struggles with confidence and self-doubt, I've learned that you should never be the one to tell yourself no. Put yourself out there; it might be uncomfortable, it might even hurt, but you can't say you didn't try.

You Are Capable of Amazing Things!

I want you to succeed, and honestly, if you've read this far, I believe we share some common ground, and you're seeking a bit of motivation to propel you forward. I've been in that position myself. This message is for the underdog who hasn't received the recognition they deserve, the person who questions their self-confidence, and the individual who is trying to understand their identity and direction. You have time to figure things out; don't let yourself become stagnant while discovering your true self. Once you do, embrace that person wholeheartedly and never let anyone convince you otherwise about who you are!

With Love & Grace,

Jenn
